Hyundai Sponsors 18 Holes FORE 18 Kids Golf Tournament
The Children’s Hunger Project’s annual golf tournament, 18 Holes FORE 18 Kids, is bringing back Hyundai as a sponsor this year, providing the tournament with a premier automotive presence. Hyundai’s premium activation will include vehicle displays, a hole-in-one opportunity for the all-new 2016 Genesis sedan, a donation towards the tournament, along with numerous other prizes and giveaways.
Additionally, the two winners from the tournament will be invited to compete at the Hyundai Invitational National Final in Las Vegas at the Cascata Golf Club, October 26-28. There, they will compete with the winners from the 49 other Hyundai Invitational tournaments.
Sheriff Wayne Ivey is Honorary Chair of the tournament to be held at Duran Golf Club on Saturday, April 23. Funds raised will provide packages of weekend food for children that teachers know are coming to school hungry on Monday mornings.

Brevard Zoo Releases Sea Turtle
Wow the Sea Turtle, a green sea turtle rehabilitated at Brevard Zoo’s Sea Turtle Healing Center, was released last night in Satellite Beach. Wow was brought to the Center in November 2015 with several hooks embedded in its flippers and digestive system. Wow was named after Women of the Wild, a conservation group that was touring the facility when the turtle was admitted.
