Whittaker Cooper Financial Group announces new Tax Director
Melbourne CPA Firm Welcomes Jennifer Griffin
Jennifer Griffin, CPA, has been hired as the Tax Director for Whittaker Cooper Financial Group of Melbourne. In her role as Tax Director, Ms. Griffin will lead the tax department for the professional financial firm, working closely with staff to ensure optimum client outcomes. Ms. Griffin will provide technical review of tax returns and projects and stay abreast of changes in tax law; researching tax issues and devising solutions as needed. A Satellite High School graduate, Jennifer Griffin has a master's degree in accounting, with a tax specialization from the University of Florida. She has considerable experience working with business owners on tax planning, cash flow planning and business succession, as well as extensive knowledge of transactions on behalf of real estate developers and investors. Boo at the Zoo tickets now on sale
Witches and warlocks planning to brew up something spooktacular at Brevard Zoo’s annual Halloween event can get a head start by purchasing their all-inclusive tickets in advance.
Boo at the Zoo, presented by Renco Electronics, is “an opportunity for families to celebrate the holiday in a fun, safe environment,” said Andrea Hill, director of marketing and communications at the Zoo.
The event will feature more than 30 treat stations, a candy-themed “Boo Choo Train,” nightly costume contests, ample photo opportunities, a haunted house and more. The event will take place October 12–14, 19–21 and 26–28 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Sundays. Pricing varies each night; member discounts are available on October 12, 14, 19 and 21. Tickets are available at www.brevardzoo.org/boo-at-the-zoo.

ATM participation and marketing relationship with FCTI, Inc. delivers surcharge-free account access for Axiom Bank cardholders at nearly 8,000 7-Eleven stores.
Axiom Bank, N.A., a Florida-based national bank, and FCTI, Inc. recently launched a multi-year agreement to provide Axiom customers with no-charge unlimited access to cash at 7,934 ATMs located inside 7-Eleven stores. This partnership also includes branded marketing messages to be shared on the machine’s screens and toppers.
“Expanding ATM access outside our branches and existing network allows our customers to take greater control over their money without paying fees,” said Daniel Davis, President and CEO of Axiom Bank. “Our partnership with FCTI also provides another platform to promote the Axiom Bank brand nationwide and introduce more customers to our banking model.”
