CAR RAFFLE FLYER WITH COMPLETE DETAILS Play Melbourne’s First Annual Two-Person Golf Classic: Jan. 19-20 Play Melbourne Parks & Recreation and Beach 98.5 FM are pleased to announce the City of Melbourne’s First Annual Two-Person Golf Classic. Play will be on both City of Melbourne golf courses (Mallards Landing and Crane Creek Reserve) in a 36-hole, two-man scramble format. First round is on Saturday, January 19, followed by a second round on Sunday, January 20. Cost is $250 per team for two rounds of golf, free use of range balls and one after party with food and drink for all. All golfers will receive a goodie bag and have the opportunity to win trophies and prizes. Beach 98.5 FM will be at Crane Creek Reserve on Sunday to entertain the crowd with the Beach Prize Patrol. Brevard Zoo announces conservation grant recipients Brevard Zoo has selected 12 conservation projects to receive funding through its Quarters for Conservation (Q4C) grant program. Upon entry, each Zoo guest is given a token representing 25 cents and asked to “vote” for their favorite project. Three projects are featured at a time, rotating quarterly. More than $100,000 has been raised thus far this year, with an average of $7,000 donated to each initiative. Guests especially passionate about a particular project are encouraged to deposit “real” coins or bills.
