Supply Zone Sponsors Virtual School Supply Drive

The Brevard Schools Foundation’s Supply Zone for Teachers is hosting the Reopening Schools Virtual Supply Drive.  All supplies collected will benefit low-income students in Brevard Public Schools.  The public is invited to participate by shopping the Supply Zone’s online charity registries or by donating funds.  All financial donations will be doubled by a matching funds grant provided by the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations.  The website for the virtual drive can be found at https://brevardschoolsfoundation.org/

Kiwanis Club of Melbourne responds to community needs during COVID-19 crisis

Serving families affected by COVID-19.

To help mitigate the difficulties faced by families during the disruptions resulting from the current pandemic, our Kiwanis Club is helping in a variety of ways.

In support of the help to families provided by volunteers at Wings of Grace Ministries, the Club donated a $1,000 grant for food, diapers, and related consumables.

Our member Linda Parrish produced over 100 masks and donated them for clients and staff at Devereux behavioral health for children affected by abuse and neglect, to St. Francis Hospice in Melbourne, and to the Navajo Nation in southwestern states.
