Rob Manning Appointed to the Melbourne Regional Chamber of East Central Florida Board of Directors

Rob Manning of the Orlando-based law firm of Dean, Mead, Egerton, Bloodworth, Capouano & Bozarth, P.A. was appointed April 9th to the Melbourne Regional Chamber of East Central Florida’s board of directors.

StayFit Health Clubs to Host Strongman Competition

StayFit Health Clubs is hosting its 2nd annual Strongman Competition on May 17 to benefit 100% The Children’s Burn Foundation of FL.  Last year, StayFit hosted the event for the first time and raised more than $3,000 for the Children’s Burn Foundation.  This year they hope to double that and are looking for sponsors and donations for their silent auction.  Both men and women are competing in this event and this is an event that is sanctioned by the Strongman Association.

National Guard presents prestigious award to Mel High Soccer Team


Melbourne High School has the honor of hosting the Space Coast All Star Soccer games this Thursday, April 17.  Select players from around the county will be placed on all star teams for an exhibition match. The ladies will begin at 5:30, and the boys will follow at 7:30. 
 
The highlight of the evening will be watching Melbourne High School receive the prestigious MaxPreps Soccer School of Champions award. Out of 33,000 varsity schools in the nation, only 20 are selected annually for this prestigious recognition, presented by the Army National Guard.
