Embraer Receives "We Noticed" Award

Keep Brevard Beautiful's South Chapter presented a "We Noticed" award to Embraer Executive Aircraft, Inc., located at the Melbourne International Airport. Their beautifully-landscaped campus includes an 80,000 square-foot assembly hangar, a 20,000 square-foot paint facility and a 58,000 square-foot customer center. The company is currently constructing an engineering and technology center at the Melbourne complex, which is Embraer's second such facility established outside of its Brazil headquarters and the first in the United States.

Attending the "We Noticed" presentation were Tony Sasso, KBB Executive Director; Bill Nichols, KBB South Chapter President; Melbourne Mayor Kathy Meehan; KBB Board and South Chapter members; a Melbourne Regional Chamber of Commerce official; Embraer's Managing Director for Melbourne Operations Phil Krull; other Embraer staff; along with the owner of Robertson's Lawns & Landscaping, that installed much of the landscaping.

The South Chapter recognizes properties throughout the southern part of Brevard County every two months for their efforts to beautify the area.
