The Du Quoin Tourism Commission was incorporated on May 12, 1989, by a group of citizens seeking a brighter future for our community. Twenty-seven years later, we are working harder than ever to bring quality events that offer something for everyone.
The Commission, volunteers, and the Garden Club of Du Quoin work hard to make Main Street a beautiful experience for visitors. Our tree-lined Main Street, with beautiful flowering planters, a flower-filled Mini Park with a Gazebo, and antique streetlights all come to life in every season.
Many of our visiting friends tell us that Du Quoin is so relaxing, inviting, and homey. Whether you are looking for wildlife, fishing, hunting, dining, or shopping (in town or just a short drive away) there's plenty to do or just rest and relax.
