Welcome to the Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt – rooted in the heartland, founded on a vision of fostering camaraderie, promoting local business opportunities, and championing wild turkey habitat and conservation. The Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt is an event that transcends boundaries and brings together individuals from various professions to partake in the thrill of hunting wild turkeys.
The Vision
The vision is to heighten awareness about Kansas' abundant outdoor resources, showcase potential business opportunities, and emphasize the importance of wild turkey habitat and conservation. Drawing participants from across the globe, the event is a testament to the universal appeal of hunting and conservation.
The Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt, with the gracious support of the Pass It On Outdoor Mentors and Kansas Wildscape Foundation organizations, we are thrilled to introduce five youth hunters from different corners of Kansas to this unique experience.
As a gesture of gratitude, the Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt is dedicated to honoring American heroes – our Veterans, Active Military, and First Responders, offering a unique opportunity for these individuals to hunt alongside our expert guides.
The camaraderie that defines the Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt knows no bounds. Approximately 50 hunters, both seasoned participants and newcomers alike, come together to share experiences, exchange stories, and celebrate the spirit of outdoor adventure.
Our mission is threefold: To pass on the heritage of hunting and conservation to Kansas youth, honor and support our American heroes, and fund research and analysis on the habitat and decline of the wild turkey through conservation and research programs in the State of Kansas. Through collaboration and dedication, we aim to drive economic development, promote outdoor engagement, and ensure the sustainability of our natural resources.
The Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt operates as a non-profit organization, with every member of our team volunteering their time and expertise to orchestrate these unforgettable events. Our commitment is fueled by a shared passion for the outdoors, the vitality of the State of Kansas, and a determination to create lasting memories for all involved.
