I am Cat (Catherine) Francucci, a professional and published medical artist, illustrator and painter. I was born and raised in Connecticut, where I attended university to study Medical Illustration. Diligence and discipline offered me the opportunity to complete my education and begin my professional career at Yale School of Medicine, Department of Medical Illustration. My skills were honed there through the mentoring of renowned Medical Artists. My work later evolved to recognition for my photography and hyperrealistic drawings on vellum using rapidograph ink pens.
My style has intentionally been diverse throughout my career. I appreciate artwork of all genres, media and techniques. The ultimate focus of my work is to create beautiful art to be shared with all - my true passion that comes from the heart.
In 2020, I was invited by the Divulgarti Ducale Gallery to exhibit in the “Gifts Of Art 4th Edizione” in Milan, Italy, of which I proudly accepted. I am an Elected Member of the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI), Member of the Madison Arts Society, Association of Women Business Executives and recipient of the 2020 Women of Excellence Award (Shoreline Chamber of Commerce).
