Welcome to Xurros, a unique culinary destination in Springfield, Missouri, where we bring the authentic taste of Spanish xurros to our local community. Our story began when Eddie, one of our founders, fell in love with the traditional xurros while studying abroad in Barcelona. Inspired by the xurrerias of Spain, Eddie, and his brother, Jorge, decided to bring this delightful treat back home.
After an immersive journey back to Spain to master the art of xurro-making, Eddie and Jorge founded Xurros, paying homage to the Spanish roots by using the Catalan spelling of the beloved treat. Our signature offering, The Barcelona, is a traditional xurro dusted with sugar and served with a rich chocolate dipping sauce, capturing the authentic flavors of Barcelona's xurros.
