Barrio Queen was established in 2011 when we first opened our doors in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. Our food pays homage to history and culture by serving fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine using traditional recipes from barrios throughout Mexico. We believe in supporting our community by using locally sourced, fresh ingredients in our dishes. Our food creates taste-craving memories that linger after you leave. The Dillon?s Restaurant concept began in 1998, when Co-Owner George Valverde approached Rich Dillon to partner together to bring reality to Valverde?s vision.
That vision has now produced 4 locations.The first Dillon?s Restaurant opened in 1999 and is located on Thunderbird Rd., Peoria. We decided to close the doors in 2019 to acquire our newest location, Dillon's at Western Trails Ranch in Morristown, AZ. This new location gives you all the cowboy feels, on 12 acres of property; with team roping events(during season, November-April), monthly rodeos(Novemeber-June), constant live entertainment and a ton of BIG events!
Dillon?s Arrowhead, located at 59th Ave. and the 101, opened in 2005 serving this gorgeous community of Glendale residents. Our Dillon's Bayou at Pleasant Harbor opened in 2016, moving from Scorpion Bay, which opened in 2009. This location is BIGGER and BETTER, because size really does matter!
