Deer Valley Academy is a non-profit charter school. It was created as an evening high school through the auspices of the Deer Valley School District in the fall of 2001 to help support the educational needs of the community. Growing consistently over the years, it has become independent and self-governing serving over 500 full and part-time students.
Deer Valley Academy?s academic program has been specifically designed to provide choices for students who are in need of a small, caring, learning environment. The school offers a comprehensive course selection that meets state standards and college entrance requirements. Students need 22 credits to graduate.
With year-round sessions, a four-day week and block classes, Deer Valley Academy offers a unique school calendar. It also offers a variety of elective programs including art, psychology, humanities and computer science.
Legacy Traditional School is a tuition-FREE, public K-6 charter school in Deer Valley, AZ opening for the fall of 2021. We're committed to helping each of our students win ? in and out of the classroom.
