A Mighty Change of Heart, where we are on a mission to make a profound difference in the lives of foster children and kinship children in the state of Arizona. With over 15,500 children currently in the foster care system and more joining every day, the need for support and resources has never been greater. While many dedicated foster parents open their hearts and homes to these children, the challenges they face due to limited state support and resources can be overwhelming. Often, when a child enters the system, they carry with them very little, if anything, in terms of worldly possessions, placing a heavy financial burden on foster families. This is where A Mighty Change of Heart steps in to provide hope and assistance.

MIKID is a licensed outpatient mental health provider with 8 locations across Arizona. Designated as a 'family-run organization, MIKID helps strengthen communities by supporting/impacting families with three key interventions: 1) a prevention focus consisting of therapeutic programs, counseling and family support, 2) Assisting families with navigating available resources in the behavioral health system of care, and 3) provide family reunification through the Parent Support Now program in coordination with DCS and Judicial Systems, as well as the necessary supports to families facing alternative dispositions.
Our programs cover a wide spectrum that address community education, public awareness, prevention, demand reduction, male engagement on the issue and the tourism and hospitality sector. It is through these activities that we hope to eliminate Human Trafficking in Arizona by raising awareness, reducing demand and fostering prevention efforts with youth.
Mission of Mercy is a free primary care mobile medical program serving the health needs of the uninsured at six clinic locations across the Valley. Patients receive free doctor visits, prescription medications, labs, imaging, health education and support all at no cost. Clinics are staffed primarily with volunteer medical professionals and clinic support personnel and deliver dignified, compassionate care and an equitable medical home for uninsured individuals and families.
The Opportunity Tree is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides services for adults and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have four centers that offer daytime programs in Phoenix, Casa Grande, Avondale and Maricopa, Arizona.
