CIC is a non-profit corporation, founded in 2003 with the mission to promote and celebrate connections between nature, family and community at Oakland Feather River Camp in the Plumas National Forest. We create unique opportunities to advance environmental awareness, cultural diversity, and youth empowerment. We are committed to benefiting the residents of Oakland and the surrounding Bay Area through programs, partnerships, and providing opportunities for growth and development. Plumas Corporation specializes in stream and meadow restoration, incorporating the science and knowledge of hydrologic and geomorphic processes. Our work restores streams and their associated floodplains, where applicable, to reduce erosion, enhance aquatic and wildlife habitat, and improve water quality conditions.
