McRo was founded in 1962 by Donald Rothey, Sr. and John McMahon with a commitment to excellence. McRo continues to be family owned and operated by Donald C. Rothey, Jr., President; Richard G. Rothey, Vice President; and Eric G. Rothey, Secretary, Treasurer.

The Special Education Centers are dedicated to the academic, social, and vocational development of students with disabilities. Programs are designed to meet each student's unique needs through individualized and adapted curriculum, community partnerships and communications training. All students will have the opportunity to acquire skills that will enable them to function appropriately in the community.
