The development at Lake Almanor West includes both public and private facilities. The golf course and restaurant at Lake Almanor West are open to the public and operate on a seasonal basis. The golf course opens after the snow melts and the grass has recovered (typically about mid April) and remains open until the first heavy frosts or snows of autumn (generally late October).
