About Durfee Hot Springs
Aching muscles and international borders melt away at Durfee Hot Springs on the northern edge of Almo. Since 2005 rock climbers, local residents and tourists have been soaking and swimming in the toasty therapeutic water. It is the perfect compliment to the many hikers and climbers that visit the City of Rocks National Reserve every year.
The three pools, including a 15x30 hot tub, 50x50 swimming pool, and a 10x20 kiddie pool are continuously flowing and free from chemicals, other than the bleach used for cleaning.
We welcome family reunions, scout groups, youth groups, and others, and try to accommodate everyone. As part of our amenities, we have an outdoor shower, dressing rooms, concessions, and a very unique gift shop featuring handmade gifts from members of the community, friends, and family.
