About Mojave Public Utility District

Mojave Public Utility District

Mojave Public Utility District (MPUD) is committed to providing the residents of Mojave, California, with a safe, reliable, and high-quality water supply, as well as dependable wastewater services. Our district operates six wells, with Wells 21 and 22 located in the Chaffee Subunit and Wells 6, 7, 8, and 9 in the Cameron Flat area. To ensure consistent service, we also have the capability to supplement our water supply through the Antelope Valley East-Kern Water Agency (AVEK), which treats surface water sourced from the State Water Project (California Aqueduct). We take pride in maintaining the highest standards for water quality, meeting or exceeding all federal and state regulatory requirements.

At MPUD, our mission is to responsibly manage the natural resources entrusted to us while delivering high-quality water and wastewater services at fair and reasonable rates. We are dedicated to preserving and protecting the environment to ensure the sustainability of these vital resources for future generations.

Guided by our Strategic Plan, we proactively address evolving challenges and priorities while maintaining our commitment to excellence in public utility service. This plan reinforces our core mission and values, outlining specific goals, strategies, and performance measures to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

Mojave Public Utility District remains steadfast in its dedication to providing essential services that support the well-being of our community today and for generations to come.
