We are delighted that you've chosen to explore our website. Allow us to introduce ourselves – we're Macklin and Alyssa Watson, a young married couple residing in the quaint town of Monroeville, Alabama. Macklin, a proud Monroe County native of over 20 years, is the creative genius behind the scenes and our talented photographer. He's the true backbone of our business! As for myself, Alyssa, I hail from the charming town of Colquitt, nestled in southwest Georgia. Fate brought Macklin and me together during our time at Troy University (Go Trojans!), and the rest, as they say, is history.
In August 2023, we embarked on this journey by launching Blue Door & Co. as a small "side gig" while I pursued my passion for cosmetology. However, as our business flourished, it quickly became my full-time endeavor, and I managed to convince Macklin to join me in opening a storefront. Fashion has always been my passion since childhood – I meticulously chose my outfit every night before school and was even honored with the title of "Best Dressed" during my senior year. Since the inception of our women's store, we've received wonderful feedback, leading us to expand into men's fashion lines and home decor.
Our vision for Blue Door & Co. is simple – to become the ultimate "one-stop shop" for the people of Monroeville.
