Firewood Sales

This year we are offering the following firewood.

LODGE POLE PINE
Lodge Pole Pine is harder than most pines and harder than the "Mixed Pine" we offer.  Lodge Pole Pine burns hotter, slower and creates more BTU's than the "Mixed Pine".  It has a thinner bark and as such leaves less ash residue than our "Mixed Pine".  It is generally considered a very good wood for all around burning, including wood burning stoves, fireplaces, and outdoor firepits.

MIXED PINE
Our Mixed Pine is a very good firewood and is economically priced for our customers.  Our Mixed Pine generally has woods with thicker barks and leaves a higher concentration of ash residue.  This wood burns faster and produces a slightly lower BTU than our Lodge Pole Pine.
