About Juab Title Abstract
Juab Title Abstract
Juab Title & Abstract Company, with over a century of history, has built a stellar reputation in the abstract and title industry. Originally established as Juab County Abstract Company, it was acquired in the early 1930s by E.B. Sperry, who served as the Juab County Recorder while managing the business. Following his retirement from the county role in 1936, E.B. dedicated himself fully to the company until his untimely passing in 1944. His son, K.J. Sperry, a decorated Air Force veteran, took over the business upon returning from service, becoming a licensed abstractor in 1945. Under K.J.’s expert leadership, the company flourished, eventually incorporated in 1987 as Juab Title & Abstract Company. Tragically, K.J. passed away later that year from ALS, leaving behind a strong legacy of dedication and integrity.
Today, Juab Title & Abstract Company is proudly led by K.J.'s daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Sperry, who trained under him for over a decade. With more than 30 years of experience, she is licensed as a title and escrow officer by the State of Utah Department of Insurance. Mary Lou’s sons, Mike and Paul, now play key roles in the family-owned business, each holding title and escrow licenses to carry on the tradition of exceptional service. Despite its small size, Juab Title remains financially sound and respected, leveraging over 100 years of combined expertise to provide reliable title and escrow services while continuing its legacy of "doing good deeds."
