The Taos County Chamber of Commerce, a New Mexico corporation since 1962, is a Membership Association existing for the sole purpose of advancing our community’s business, agricultural and commercial sectors through the building of its entrepreneurial and economic growth.With over 700 members representing a wide range of businesses both small and large, the Taos County Chamber of Commerce is one of the most active and community-oriented chambers.
Exploring Possibilities:
Exploring Possibilities provides and facilitates community and work-based learning and mentoring opportunities for youth in Taos County. These opportunities include the following: jobs, business, career and internship opportunities for youth, education for youth, and various art programs for youth up to the age of 25.
TAOS BUSINESS & EDUCATION COLLABORATIVE
The purpose and mission of the Taos Business & Education Collaborative is to provide and support educational development for all community members, including youth, and to assist in building bridges and relationships between community and educational organizations in Taos County.
Exploring Possibilities, a program of the Taos Business & Education Collaborative, works closely with area schools and youth organizations to offer community and work-based learning and offers mentoring opportunities for youth in Taos County.
Through Exploring Possibilities programming, we offer all Taos youth the opportunity to explore their interests with inspiring adult professionals in the Taos Community, to better understand different professions. to identify the value of education, and to recognize a variety of resources in their own communities.
