QuickBooks Basics Seminar- Oct. 30th

When: Friday, October 30, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where: Davis College- 4747 Monroe St. Toledo, Ohio 43623
Why: Get an overview of QuickBooks in simple everyday terms. No accounting experience necessary.  A computer and QuickBooks Software will be provide by Davis College for your use during the workshop, so that you will be able to follow step by step, lead by a qualified QuickBooks' instructor.

 

Learn how to access and maintain your own sales and expences.  Learn by actually going through the steps on how to perform basic QuickBook functions so that your accounts are in proper order for tax season.  Some topics to be discussed:  using the check register, creating an account, applying payments, creating invoices and statements, paying bills.
Join our work shop with an eagerness to learn a new skill and questions about how accounting software may help you with your business issues.

 

A fee of $25 covers the teacher and tech fees for holding this event.  Davis college has generously donated the computer lab that allows this workshop to be successful.  This event is open to the public.  Please tell a friend.

Discounted Lights Before Christmas Tickets Available Through the Chamber!

The Lights Before Christmas Event will be returning to the Toledo Zoo for their 30th Season starting November 13th through January 3rd. The Chamber Partnership has been given the opportunity to offer discounted ticket prices to chamber members for The Lights Before Christmas. Prices are listed below:

Adults (ages 12-59)- Usually $15.00, discounted to $12.00
Children (ages 2-11)- Usually $12.00, discounted to $9.00
Seniors (ages 60+)- Usually $12.00, discounted to $9.00
