As the saying goes “good things come to those who wait” --- well the wait is over and we are pleased to announce that the HR Council is ready to serve you the members of The Chamber Partnership. The HR Council is comprised of Business Council Board Members Tami Norris; Michelle Donnelly and Connie Koch. Our primary focus is to deliver resources to assist businesses with their Human Resource needs.
The HR Council would like to thank everyone that completed the HR Survey. Based on the results and assessment of the needs, we will be launching a new program designed to provide you with the tools that will help you manage your business and assist with your employees. More details to follow.
Your feedback is very important and will help ensure that the HR Council meets the needs of the business community. Please feel free to e-mail the HR Council at ckoch@hrsystems.cc with any questions or comments.

Register Today For John Maxwell Leaders In Training Program!
The John Maxwell Leaders In Training Program allows students to gain valuable work experience, while preparing to enter the workforce or deciding on a major in college. This opportunity will allow youth to experience, explore, and gain experience through a participating company with the Northwest Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Through classroom education, these youth will gain the soft skills necessary to retain employment in a professional environment. The training will last 10 weeks.
There is a small fee of $25.00 for students to become part of this leadership program, which includes the cost of the book, "21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership". The class is set to begin on Thursday, March 31st through Thursday, June 2nd from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The program places selected youth in a professional environment, within Northwest Ohio, where they will perform meaningful tasks and work. The classes will take place at the Chamber Office located at 305 Morris St. STE.204 in Toledo, Ohio.

Join us on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for an opportunity to not only network with other chamber members, but also enjoy creating a masterpiece to take home with you! This event will cost $35.00 per person and will include beverages, appetizers, pizza, and all of your painting materials. Better yet, if you have children they are invited to come and play at Hero’s for only an additional $5.00. Children will enjoy playing on the giant inflatables, playing carnival style games, and will get pizza and a drink for dinner, all while being supervised by the wonderful Hero's staff.
Networking and eating will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and the painting class will begin promptly at 6:20 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. We look forward to having a FUN night filled with networking and painting!
