Welcome to the North Plains Senior Center, your hub for vibrant community engagement and essential services for seniors in North Plains and beyond. Located at 31450 NW Commercial in North Plains, Oregon, our center, in collaboration with our valued partners, is dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors through a diverse array of programs and activities.
At the heart of our mission is the commitment to fostering social connections and well-being among seniors. From lively morning coffee gatherings to friendly card and board game sessions, our center provides a warm and inviting space for seniors to come together, share stories, and build lasting friendships. Additionally, our Meals on Wheels center ensures that seniors have access to nutritious meals, serving lunches on-site every Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 am to 1 pm. For those unable to join us in person, our partnership with Forest Grove Meals on Wheels enables us to deliver meals directly to the doorsteps of homebound seniors, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.
In addition to promoting social interaction and addressing nutritional needs, the North Plains Senior Center is dedicated to supporting seniors in maintaining their physical health and mental well-being. Our center offers a range of exercise classes tailored to seniors' needs, providing opportunities to stay active, improve mobility, and enhance overall wellness. Furthermore, we believe in the power of the arts to inspire and uplift, which is why we regularly host concerts featuring talented local musicians, enriching the cultural life of our community. As tax season approaches, we also provide valuable assistance with tax preparation, ensuring that seniors have access to the resources and support they need to navigate this important aspect of financial planning.
