2018 Membership/Partnership/Sponsorship
2017 has been a productive year for the Oak Grove Chamber of Commerce as we created new policies, infrastructure, programs and events that not only support our members as business owners, but also benefit the Oak Grove community as a whole. Memberships and Partnerships make these programs and events possible, and without them we cannot accomplish our shared mission of a thriving, profitable business community. Here is a list of just a few things the Chamber of Commerce is currently doing in the community and for our businesses:
- Implemented NEW website technology offering a multitude of additional resources (syndicated calendar, lead sharing, online training) to members and increasing the overall visibility of our community and businesses tenfold. This is now the main site for everything Oak Grove!
- Chair for the Long Term Recovery Committee following the March 6, 2017 tornado. Distributing monetary donations equally amongst all affected. Continuing to work with Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, and Community Service League to assist residents in need.
- Appointed to Chair the Missouri Main Street Program rolling out 1st Qtr 2018 after attending training and assisting in the Grant application. This amazing opportunity will result in a complete revitalization of the Oak Grove downtown business community over a 2 year period.
- Hosts many networking/special events such as the monthly Chamber Luncheon, Coffee & Conversations, Business "After Hours” program, Trails for Treats, political forums, and many additional offerings coming in 2018.
- Promote the “Shop Local” program that encourages people to shop Oak Grove in support of the local economy. Continuously making referrals to our members.
- Sponsors four major annual events: Installation Banquet Awards Ceremony, Taste of Country, Golf Tournament and SEPTFEST. All of which were a HUGE success in 2017!!
These are just a few of the ways we promote and support the growth and success of Oak Grove and its businesses.
We want you to partner with us to further expand our outreach and impact within the Oak Grove community, and since we are fully funded by memberships/partnerships, we really need your help to continue our work. We hope that you have been impressed with our increased effort to stimulate growth in our economy this year and we ask that you consider a significant increase in your involvement with the Chamber in 2018. These are exciting times for Oak Grove and we will thrive and prosper if we all PARTNER together!
