Come to church–everyone’s invited!

As Christians, we believe in learning all we can about Jesus. The greatest happiness in life comes from following the Savior. You will feel His love for you as you seek to understand His life and teachings.

One of the best ways to learn more and get a sense of our community is to attend church with us! You don't have to be a member to attend a worship service. Visitors are always welcome. Our primary family worship service is called sacrament meeting. Our Sunday worship services include partaking of the sacrament (or Communion) and participating in Sunday School and other church classes.

Our congregation looks to serve the community. The best service opportunities are collaborative—working side by side with others in faith-based, nonprofit, community, and government organizations.

Mission of the Church
The mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is to help all of God’s children come to Jesus Christ through learning about His gospel, making and keeping promises with God (covenants), and practicing Christlike love and service.
Members of the Church believe in helping individuals and families fulfill the commandments to love God and to love your neighbor. Members do so by living the gospel of Jesus Christ, caring for those in need, inviting all to receive the gospel, and uniting families through family history and temple work.

Martin Luther King Day of Service (01/16/23)
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s vision was that we would all be treated as children of God, said Sister Yee. He saw that. He understood that. He felt that and so do we. In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe we are all children of our Heavenly Father, and all have value and worth innately because of that relationship with God.

About 2,700 boxes of canned goods and nonperishable items were distributed to thousands of families in need, who waited for hours in a drive-thru line to receive the donations. Volunteers loaded the boxes in the trunks of their cars as they passed through the front of the line.

For over a week leading up to the event, members of the greater St. Louis community, including many Latter-day Saints, donated their time to prepare the thousands of food boxes needed.

Latter-day Saint Charities Provides 40,000 pounds in STL (01/18/21)
Latter-day Saint Charities partnered with the Urban League of Metropolitan Saint Louis, Inc., in providing more than 3,500 St. Louis-area families in need with food, toiletries and personal protective equipment in Florissant, Missouri, on Monday, January 18, 2021. 40,000 pounds of food was repackaged and then distributed by 75 volunteers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, additional community volunteers and members of the National Guard.

During the three-hour Martin Luther King Jr. Day event, a long line of cars moved from station to station where volunteers helped load trunks with supplies.
