About Us
Terrill C. (Terry) Herring is President of T.C. Herring & Associates, LLC, a full-service human resources and performance consulting practice. He holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees from Michigan State University, and is a graduate of the USAF Air War College.
Terry serves clients in the central United States helping them focus on clear organizational and staff development goals and implementing leadership and management development processes to reach their goals. He has volunteered as a counselor with the Small Business Administration SCORE Program. Terry teaches graduate and undergraduate business courses as an adjunct faculty member with Maryville and Lindenwood Universities in St. Louis, MO. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Employment Management Association of St. Louis.
During a distinguished military career spanning nearly twenty-five years, Terry held many key leadership positions, including director of human resources and chief labor negotiator for a 13,000 person Air Force installation, and the Headquarters Strategic Air Command manager responsible for policy formulation and the operational oversight of 24 subordinate human resources offices located across the United States. A Viet Nam veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, Terry completed his Air Force service as a Lieutenant Colonel in March 1991.
