El Medio is a Special District fire department which provides medical aide and fire services. El Medio also provides fire safety training and other public service trainings and events. We work in conjunction with Oroville Fire, Cal Fire and U.S.F.S.El Medio was oficially formed in 1925 and has served the south Oroville area ever since.
We are a combination station with both paid staff and volunteer firefighters, an we provide most of the training. Staff is on duty 24/7, with the office open from 8:00am to at least 5:00pm.
