About Us

Kay General Contracting was established in July of 1976 and has been doing general contracting work since that date. Clark Kay, President and owner of KGC, began his career in construction after graduation from BYU in 1972. Professional experience began with residential remodel and new residential construction. As time progressed, we moved to a mix of residential and light commercial construction. In 1995, we changed our focus to include only commercial construction. In 2009-10, we expanded our focus to include green building practices, high performance buildings, energy efficiency, and renewable energy resources. We have successfully completed projects, which include new construction and renovation of office buildings, warehouses, religious facilities, educational facilities, state park visitor center, medical offices, dental offices, sound studios, hospital work including, heart cath labs, electro physiology labs, as well as, other hospital renovations.
KGC organizes and manages projects with a project designer, project manager and superintendent. The superintendent coordinates work performed by our employees and qualified subcontractors. Management systems include methods to insure projects are completed and documented as per the requirements of the architects and engineers.
