BC Wine Information Centre
The BC Wine Information Centre is a not-for-profit society established in 1996 to promote BC wines through its operation. All proceeds from the centre are reinvested into the local wine community for educational resources. They have contributed nearly $500,000 to the community, supporting projects like the kitchen/wine sensory lab at Okanagan College and providing scholarships for viticulture students.
Known as the 'Gateway to Wine Country,' the centre is the premier retailer of BC wines in the area. They offer a wide selection of ready-chilled white, rosé, and sparkling wines, along with an exclusive collection of limited-production wines in The Icon Room. Besides wines, the centre also offers wine accessories, local gourmet food products, gift items, and books about food and wine. Custom gift baskets can be created or chosen from ready-made options.
For wine enthusiasts, they offer a Wine Club with regular shipments of selected wines. Additionally, they provide worry-free shipping for wine collections purchased during touring experiences in the Okanagan.
To expand knowledge about BC wines, the centre hosts wine-tasting seminars guided by wine industry leaders and educators who are passionate about BC wines. These seminars offer a unique opportunity to learn from experts in the field.
