Grist Mill and Gardens Historic Site in Keremeos, British Columbia, traces its roots back to 1872 when Barrington Price, an English gentleman, established a water-powered mill and accompanying store in the Similkameen Valley. This venture quickly became integral to the local community, providing flour for settlers, First Nations, and miners traveling along the historic Dewdney Trail.
