Neil Squire Society, established in 1984, is a pioneering organization dedicated to revolutionizing the lives of Canadians with disabilities through accessible technology. Inspired by Neil Squire's remarkable journey, we are driven by the belief that individuals of all abilities should have equal opportunities to live, work, and play without barriers. Our comprehensive work focuses on four core areas: Innovation, Digital Literacy, Employment, and Assistive Technology. Through affordable assistive technology devices, immersive programs, and ergonomic solutions, we empower individuals with disabilities to take control of their lives and achieve their goals. As the Canadian leader in Assistive Technology, our impact extends across the nation, fostered by collaborations with like-minded partners who share our passion for inclusivity.
Led by Dr. Gary Birch, our organization has thrived, expanding from a small Vancouver office to a network of over 15 offices across Canada, supported by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Our unique culture is shaped by the experiences of our diverse team, many of whom have personally benefitted from our services.
