What a great week this has been for the Peoria Chamber!

Just this morning we finished our first Chamber Connections interviews and they were fantastic!  Our guests for the first show were Brian McQuistion from Plumbing Masters, Suzanne Webb from ESurgeries, Mark Gabbard from Sunburst Landscaping and Pat Diomede with Homeowners Financial Group, Chairman of our Board of Directors.  All shared information about their businesses and what makes them the right people to call when you need their service.  These will be edited together to a full program that will run on Peoria Ch 11 for 30 days, uploaded to YouTube and posted on the Chamber website.  Each business owns their segment to use in marketing their company any way they wish.  Call the office to get your business signed up for future shows.

I attended the latest Old Town Peoria Think Tank meeting last week and saw a great presentation on what the City of Peoria envisions for that area.  A good representation of Old Town merchants were in attendance and I’m very grateful to have our Chamber be a part of this visionary project and exceptional group of people.  Stay tuned for more information as the committee moves forward. 

This Friday is a BIG P83 event – see all the details in the flyer on the right hand column of this newsletter. 

Our new Women’s Networking Group is really taking shape!  We had over 30 business women attend our planning meeting and they have some great ideas being planned.  If you want to become part of this group, contact Ruby Rojas at rrojas@peoriachamber.com.  It looks to be a winner. Oh, and no boys allowed!
