Peoria Business Students Need Your Help

Peoria High School Business Students Need Your Help

The Peoria High School Future Business Leaders of America, are in need of our business community’s assistance.

They need to raise the final $1800 needed to attend this year’s National Competition held in Atlanta, Georgia from June 27th to July 3rd.

The total needed was $6,952 and to date through car washes, selling candles and a number of other funding raising activities, they have raised $5,152 on their own.

They still need the final $1800.  The Chamber is sending this out in hopes that our strong business partnerships throughout the community will assist them in reaching their goal.

Here is how they qualified:

·  Sydney Jenner is the Arizona FBLA State President where she led Peoria High School and the State of Arizona program throughout this year.  Sydney won 1st place in her competition, Social Media Campaign.

·  Rachel Green, Addison Sears, and Alyssa Nunez took 1st place in their Community Service Report highlighting Peoria’s partnership with the City of Peoria and the Community Gardens.

The Peoria Chamber of Commerce believes that it is young people such as these, who have made a strong commitment to learning about business, that will be our future key to success here in Peoria as we continue to grow and create the type of city we all enjoy living, working and playing in.

Please assist these fantastic students if you are able.
