Hi Everyone!
I went to the ribbon cutting yesterday for the Honor Health medical facility at 10230 W. Happy Valley Rd. What a beautiful building designed and built by our member Denaro Ventures. You should stop in when you get a chance and check it out. Plus, Honor Health has some great new innovations in their health care center that can save you time and money rather than going to an emergency room. I’m sure they would be happy to tell you about the features if you stop in.
There are two fun Chamber events coming up in the next couple weeks. First up is our Holiday Luncheon at Arizona Broadway Theatre on December 14th at 11:30 am. There will be great entertainment provided by the Sunrise Mountain Choir, a special performance from Arizona Broadway and a few more surprises in the works! Mark this on your calendar and plan to attend.
The day after, on Thursday December 15 th, our Peoria Chamber is hosting a combined mixer with the North Phoenix Chamber and the Phoenix Metro Chamber at our member Laser Quest in a laser tag battle to the death. Laser Quest is located at 3335 W. Peoria Ave, Phoenix 85029 (SE Corner 35 th Ave & Peoria) with the event beginning at 5:00 pm. There will be some food and soft drinks and if you like bring a raffle prize and get your business some extra exposure. This is a great opportunity to make some new business contacts and referral sources.

Holiday Party Road Closures
Roads Closed for Annual Holiday Festival
On Friday, Dec. 2, several roads will be closed for Peoria's annual Old Town Holiday Festival. Beginning at 10 a.m., the city of Peoria will close Washington Street from 83rd to 85th Avenue. Beginning at noon Jefferson Street from 83rd to 84th avenues, 84th Avenue from Peoria through the intersection at Washington, and 83rd Avenue from Washington to Madison will be closed.
The heart of the festival will be held in Peoria’s Osuna Park, across from the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, south of 83rd and Grand avenues. Parking and admission are free. Some activities have a nominal fee. Parking during the closure will be available on Grand Avenue, Washington Street east of 83rd Avenue, at the Peoria Community Center, and in the Peoria City Hall parking garages.
