Happy Hump Day!
We held our first Networking Breakfast at our
new location Tilted Kilt yesterday morning. There were 28 in attendance with a host of new faces.
Hillary Dempsey the new GM at the Tilted Kilt (who by the way is our latest new member) made us all feel very welcome and served up a fantastic buffet breakfast of eggs and bacon with biscuits and gravy. It was a great way to start the day making new friends and business connections. Come join us on January 3
rd for our next breakfast.
The PCC Rush last Wednesday at Slicks Garage was AWESOME! Raina, our host, provided some tasty food and we all selected from a wide variety of adult beverages. The turnout was between 18-20 with several people coming and going throughout our time there. What a very cool place this is, you really need to come in and check it out. It’s a retro-motorcycle theme with a great big Harley in the middle of the room. Raina herself is usually there, so when you stop in for lunch, happy hour or dinner, introduce yourself to her and tell her how happy we are to have her business in Peoria and as a member of our Chamber.
Our PCC Rushes are continuing to grow at each event. Our next one will be in January and we will be selecting a Chamber member’s business for lunch. Join us if you can; it’s fun, we support a member and enjoy time with our fellow Peoria business leaders in a relaxed, congenial atmosphere. You’re going to eat lunch anyway, so why not join all of us?
Next
Wednesday, December 14th is the Chamber Holiday Luncheon at Arizona Broadway Theatre. We have a great program planned for you. First, we will hear about
a wonderful organization called Homeless Youth Connection. This is an organization that works to meet the needs of homeless youth who want to stay in school so they can graduate. They provide a great service that I’m sure you are not aware of how badly it is needed. Go to
www.hycaz.org to learn more about them.
Also planned for our luncheon is
a performance from Arizona Broadway Theatre from an upcoming show and
then the piece de resistance: a song fest from the award-winning Sunrise Mountain High School Choir.
Did I mention the door prizes?! I guarantee you will leave our luncheon filled with the Holiday spirit and the patience of a saint to go shopping with!
