The Millennials Corner:

The Perfect Equation to Reach you Target Audience
By Emma Wolff

They are not going to want that product. Choosing advertising that would speak to this audience – or demographic - would be a waste of your money.

Whether you have a tight budget – or a plethora of money – you want to make sure you are reaching the consumers who are most likely to buy your product. Demographics, psychographics, and geographics are the three components used to find your target market.

Lots of BIG News

We’re Moving!

On Friday March 10th the Peoria Chamber of Commerce is moving to new offices at Huntington University Center for Media Arts.

The new address will be 8385 W. Mariners Way, Suite 3, Peoria 85382.

Our phone numbers will remain the same (623-979-3601) with our website still www.peoriachamber.com

We Have More to Offer!

This exciting move will coincide with the  beginning of our strategic partnership with the Arizona Small Business Development Center.

The AZSBDC provides valuable services to business, including onsite one-on-one counseling for business owners, networking opportunities, educational workshops, and virtual counseling.

In addition the AZSBDC offers resource assistance and training to preserve and create small business jobs and revenue, and facilitates capital formation to assist growing businesses, all at no cost to the business owner.

This amazing opportunity has been provided by the City of Peoria’s strong commitment to business.  Our Chamber is very pleased and excited to be part of this strategic partnership between the Arizona Small Business Development Center and the City of Peoria.  The synergy created between the Chamber and the AZSBDC will be an enormous benefit to the entire Peoria business community and all individuals looking to start or move their business to Peoria.  Having the AZSBDC housed within the Peoria Chamber offices offers an additional benefit to our Chamber members looking for a tremendous resource to provide the business knowledge and assistance they need to drive their businesses to greater success.

Our offices will be open first thing Monday morning March 13th.  Give us a few days to get reorganized then stop in and give us a look!

Peoria Ranks as One of the Healthiest Cities in U.S.

Peoria makes the list (No. 36) as one of the healthiest cities in the U.S., according to a recent WalletHub study. The study explained that location matters when it comes to health. Some places promote wellness by expanding access to nutritious food and recreational facilities. Others strive to keep treatment costs affordable for everyone or protect green space that encourages an active
and healthy lifestyle.

To determine which areas prioritize residents’ well-being, WalletHub’s data team compared 150 of the most populated U.S. cities across 34 key indicators of good health. The data set ranges from “cost of doctor visit” to “fruit and vegetable consumption” to “fitness clubs per capita.” For more information on how Peoria
ranked among those factors, visit
