May 2017 Presidents Corner Attention Non-Profit Members!!! We are in need of many volunteers for all the games and events during our Asset Preservation $10 Million Shootout Golf Classic on Friday May 12^th. I have a proposition for all of you. Any non-profit organization who can supply us with at least 2-3 volunteers is welcome to set up a table on one of the golf holes to hand out literature and promote your organization to the golfers coming by. If any of you are interested please call the Chamber office at 623-979-3601 and ask for Carmen or Guy. If you haven’t registered your foursome or sent us your marketing item for our golfer’s swag bags, you are running out of time. This is a golf tournament you do not want to miss. Great hole-in-one prizes on every par 3! Raffle prizes of Vegas and Laughlin trips plus Hot Air Balloon rides as well as amazing Silent Auction items! Everyone has a chance to be drawn for the Shootout to win $1 Million with a hole-in-one! Every golfer is entered in the 3-putt putting contest to win $30,000 Cash! Foursomes are $500 and Individual golfers are $125 Next week is a HUGE week for the Peoria Chamber of Commerce! We are excited to host Arizona Secretary of State Michele Reagan at our luncheon on Wednesday, May 10th at Arizona Broadway Theatre from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Secretary Reagan will discuss her 2017 legislative agenda, her efforts to modernize our business services division and will be reflecting on the 2016 election cycle. City of Peoria Mayor Cathy Carlat will join us for the luncheon and will present a check to the Peoria Sunset Lions Club for $2000. These funds were raised from the Mayor’s State of the City address to support the organization. Seats are $25 for members and $35 for future members.
