Meet Your Members
Hello, I’m María Tomás-Keegan, a Certified Life Transition Coach for Women, specializing in helping professional women successfully recover when a major life event rocks her world.
I know first-hand how stressful it can be to manage my career, family obligations and take care of myself while my personal world crumbled around me. I also understand how many other things can change when “life happens”—like divorce, loss of a loved one, layoff, retirement or becoming a caregiver.
Through my 30-year corporate career in marketing, investor and public relations, working for small family-owned companies and international corporations, it was my privilege to coach and mentor staff and colleagues on career and life choices. During that time, I lived through my share of life transitions. I learned about resilience, compassion (especially for myself) and what powered me through.
After retiring from IBM, I repurposed my experience and expertise in coaching and mentoring so that I can share with other professional women what I learned about transitions and how to thrive.
I created a program for women called Thrive for Life. It is rooted in each client’s core values, a crystal clear vision for the future and passion for taking action to make it happen. The program is unique in its design when group or private coaching options are employed. We focus on learning new Life Strategies, adapting them to each client’s circumstance, implementing them so a habit is formed and sustaining them through practice and accountability. This creates a rock-solid foundation, and when women are empowered to create in this way, not only does she win — everyone around her benefits.
