Arizona Gives Day - Peoria Diamond Club - 04.07.20

Peoria Diamond Club is Proud to Participate in Arizona Gives Day on April 7, 2020

Peoria Diamond Club is one of the more than 700 nonprofit organizations expected to participate in Arizona Gives Day, an online fundraising initiative on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Presented by FirstBank, Arizona Gives Day will bring together Arizonans from across the state to raise awareness and financial support for nonprofit organizations statewide.
Arizonans are encouraged to help make a difference by investing in the nonprofit of their choice.
“The PDC is excited to participate in Arizona Gives Day. We, especially in this unusual and unprecedented financial and emotional climate, are anxious to help the organizations that so need us all to step up. I have faith that all together we can make a difference through this health crisis and still support the increasing children’s needs, said Roz Shanley, General Manager.
“The PDC has a grant program and a scholarship fund that we are planning to continue with this year and beyond. Our spring training revenues suffered as consequence of CoVid-19. We are hoping sponsors and individual donations here will help make up the difference we are now lacking.”
She continues, “I appreciate the Giving Day platform as a way of getting the word out about what we do and raising awareness to others. Please don’t sit back and watch through this time, but rather, band together in whatever way you can, to support our communities.”

Golf Program in Schools Proud to Participate in Arizona Gives Day on April 7, 2020

Golf Program in School is one of the more than 700 nonprofit organizations expected to participate in Arizona Gives Day, an online fundraising initiative on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Arizonans are encouraged to help make a difference by investing in the nonprofit of their choice.
Golf Program in Schools is a local nonprofit that offers an in-school 5-day program introducing students to the basics of golf.  “With the closing of schools due to COVID-19, our focus has shifted to how we can still serve the students and their families adhering to all national, state and local safety regulations. We have developed a new "Safe 6 Program" for kids and families to enjoy together. This program will adhere to all federal, state and local guidelines of social distancing while still offering participants the benefit of fresh air, exercise and fun!”  - Scott Rutter, Director of GPS Academy.
