"FITNESS AND NUTRITION COACHING"

BEARFOOT FITNESS offers affordable, family-friendly fitness classes to the West Valley. General classes are facilitated at local parks with the intention of making exercise accessible to people of all fitness levels. Each class consists of a light warm-up, stretching, body weight movements and a short (ten minutes or less) high intensity workout.

MOBILE CLASSES. Because all classes are offered without machines, barbells or bands, BEARFOOT is able to facilitate classes in parking lots, large conference rooms, etc. If your company is looking to offer quick exercise options to your employees during their lunch breaks, then BEARFOOT can help!

NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING is also available and is based off of each individual's wellness goals. BEARFOOT is working to redefine people's relationship with food, so that they are able to achieve their wellness goals while creating lifestyle habits that can be sustained.
Melanie Lehmer’s educational background includes a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, San Marcos, a Master's of Arts in Education from National University and a CrossFit, Level 1 Trainer certification.

Between teaching for 5 years and living in the fitness world for over 10 years, Bearfoot offers a unique twist on exercise and nutrition for the whole family!

"Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity." -John F. Kennedy

The Stay at Home order expired last Friday, May 15th at midnight, along with EO 2020-24 (travel advisory) and 2020-33 (“Returning Stronger”). All other executive orders will stay in place. As of Saturday, May 16 at 12 AM, EO 2020-36 became effective, reminding people to promote physical distancing and allowing businesses to gradually and safely open in compliance with federal, OSHA and ADHS guidelines.

Vulnerable individuals with underlying health conditions and those above age 65 are still recommended to stay at home and leave the house for essential services only.
