Our Story
Founded in Newark, Delaware in 1991, Wayback represents the inner "rebel" who might skip their veggies but always holds the door for grandma. We embrace a slightly irreverent attitude towards those who don’t quite get it, yet we remain grounded. Wayback is about honesty and simplicity, mirroring our guests: hardworking individuals who appreciate straightforward, uncomplicated pleasures. Our restaurants are a treat – a welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable and included. It’s a place that feels both fresh and nostalgic, with a modern twist on the way things used to be.
