October Speaker Luncheon Presented by Lindon City Public Safety
10/04/2018
11:45 AM - 01:00 PM
Lindon City Public Safety Building
90 N State St

Please join us on Thursday, October 4th from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm for our Monthly Speaker Luncheon at the Public Safety Building in Lindon (90 N State St). Come learn about how Lindon City is engaging businesses to prepare for emergency situations and disaster scenarios.

They will be talking about the importance of our local businesses in their City Wide Emergency Preparedness initiative. This includes businesses, owners, and employees being signed up for the Everbridge Notification System (link to use to sign up: http://www.lindoncity.org/everbridge-emergency-notification.htm ) but, because local businesses are critical to communities being able to thrive after emergencies, they’ll also address some action steps that ALL Utah businesses can take today to prepare for any kind of emergency, not just “the Big One” earthquake that we’ve all been educated about.

Member Benefit Spotlight - Welcome Bag Program

Emily Olson- 2018 Chair of the Board

As one of the many included chamber member benefits, the Welcome Bag Program allows you to distribute information about your business to new members of our community. We would love your help in filling them with your business info, swag, or promotions.

We are trying to make it easy and worthwhile for your business to enjoy this ongoing marketing benefit. Here are the details:

What is the Welcome Bag?
It is a large, blue reusable shopping bag that is filled with items from chamber businesses like yours, along with informational handouts related to the city.

Who receives them?
These handy bags are given to EVERY new resident and business in both Pleasant Grove and Lindon! That's about a bag a day going out to potential customers that live in close proximity to your business!

What is the cost?
This marketing opportunity is FREE with your chamber membership. You are only responsible for the cost of whatever items you put in the bags.

How do I get my items to the cities?
We'll take care of that for you! Simply email us at pglindonchamber@gmail.com and we'll make arrangements for your items to be picked up at your location.

How many items will be needed?
That's totally up to you. If they are smaller items (like coupons, postcards or even small swag items), we can store about 6 months worth of the items you'll be putting in the bags. If they are larger items (like frisbees or clothing), we can store about 3 months worth, depending on size. Either way, we will pick up your items as often as needed so you never miss a potential new customer.

When will I need to have the items ready?
We will be gathering items starting now and you can join in anytime!

Please feel free to email us at pglindonchamber@gmail.com if you have any other questions. We hope the Welcome Bag Program brings many new customers your way!
