She holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Northern Arizona University (NAU) in Architecture and Design. Sara has worked as a City Planner for the City of Sedona and as an Instructor for NAU in Flagstaff. Sara is a great resource as a listing specialist who knows how to sell your property quickly with proper staging, photography, and pricing techniques. She is also a people person and a great listener when it comes to helping buyers find their dream homes. Sara chose to hang her real estate license with Keller Williams Northeast Realty (KWNE) because of their core values and belief system. At KWNE every transaction is a win-win for everybody or there is no deal. Our customers always come first, and we seek first to understand every situation through committed communication. We create trust and success by leading through honesty in all of our transactions, and we focus all of efforts on service, productivity, and profitability for our clients.
- Why I joined the Chamber: Membership to the Chamber will bring credibility to my business. It will increase my visibility in the community and will create networking opportunities. It will allow me to make business contacts that will help generate more business activity for the community as well. The chamber newsletters and events will keep me current on interesting information about other small businesses and their owners, as well as information and events going on in the community. It will also give me the opportunity to acquire customer referrals from the daily calls at the chamber from individuals and businesses looking for potential vendors. It will also help me reach potential clients through member exclusive advertising and opportunities for business-to-business advertising and publicity. Lastly, and most importantly it will allow me to get to know and serve the Prescott community better.
- Discounts that you may give the Chamber members: I can provide discounts on moving costs, home warranties, appraisal fees, closing costs, and professional retainer fees as it all relates to relocation and real estate needs.

35th Annual Christmas Parade and 63rd Annual Courthouse Christmas Lighting took place on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Crowds were entertained with live band and cheer squad performances on Gurley Street. Santa's tent was filled with excited children, pets and families during the afternoon. With approximately 12,000 people in attendance, the City's local businesses (especially downtown) were buzzing all day long! The lights will stay lit until January 14, 2018 (Martin Luther King Jr. weekend). Pet of the Month
Yavapai Humane Society
Hi, my name is Luna and I’m a two-year-old pit bull mix looking for my forever home at Yavapai Humane Society. What should you know about me? I love all people! Try giving me scratches…I swear, I will melt! I am a goof ball who loves toys and still has the heart of a puppy at age 2. I can always use a good walk (who can't?) and an owner with some dog experience. I’m a champ at "sit" and love to play dress up. I’m a pewter princess and I’ll admit I’m a little selfish…I want a home all to myself. No other dogs or cats please. Call 928-445-2666 to ask for a meet and greet and talk to the dog behaviorists at YHS about my sterling silver qualities!
7 Quick Tips from BBB
7 Quick Tips for Fun & Safe Holiday Season
Make the most of this season with these tips from Better Business Bureau:
- Gift Receipts: Always ask for a gift receipt. This way the recipient can return or exchange a gift if necessary.
- Warranty Information: Inquire about the store’s return policy before purchasing. Also, be sure to pass along any information about returns, exchanges, repairs, and warranties to the person who will use the item.
- Research: Read product reviews, check bbb.org for Business Profiles, look at sales flyers and ads, compare prices, and look for early promotions.
- Public Wi-Fi: Public Wi-Fi is vulnerable to thieves and fraudsters looking to steal your info. When in stores, restaurants or hotels avoid using banking or other apps that access personal information and do not order and enter payment information while utilizing public Wi-Fi.
- Email Phishing: With all the promotional emails received during the holidays, scammers will be out in full force. It’s best not to click on links from senders you don’t recognize. Also, check the ‘reply’ email address. The address should be on a company domain. Watch out for look-alike domains.
- What’s In a Name: Be on the lookout for name similarities. Fake companies and dubious charities often pick a name that sounds like a more famous company or charity. Before you buy or donate, be sure you are accessing the correct business and/or have the exact name of the charity you want to support.
- Look Out for Scams: If you suspect a scam, check out BBB Scam Tips to learn more (bbb.org/scamtips) or report scams to BBB Scam Tracker (bbb.org/scamtracker).

DECEMBER 16, 2017 10:00 am PRESCOTT NATIONAL VETERANS CEMETERY
Each December on National Wreaths across America Day, their mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as contemporaneous ceremonies at over 1,200 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad. It is our goal to have a wreath places on the headstone of every hero at Prescott National Cemetery.
Once again American Legion Riders Post 6 is one of the local fundraising groups to raise funds to place wreaths at the Prescott National Cemetery. The American Legion Riders does not make any money from this; ALR 6 has again taken the "3 for 2" option -- for every 2 wreaths someone purchases (at $15 each), we will get 3 wreaths placed at Prescott National -- so we are asking any businesses or individuals who donate this year to please donate in multiples of $30.
In order to donate, here are instructions:
