The True Value Corporation filing for bankruptcy is part of a deal to sell all their assets to the Do It Best Corporation. The
proposed acquisition would mark a significant moment in history of the independent home improvement industry, if
consummated, as it would create a worldwide store network exceeding 8,000 location in the US and more than 50
Countries in the world.
