Captured on camera! I can't imagine a more unique and exciting concept than a pickleball
themed elopement.
This ceremony was inspired by the sport's growing popularity! Pickle ball originated in Mexico and expanded throughout
Europe in the 1970s, continuing to grow today. This setting symbolized the couple's strong partnership and teamwork,
being that pickleball is a sport played in doubles, and the couple shares three young boys together. It made the ideal
theme for their ceremony.
We incorporated pickleball elements, such as customized vows and a unique "Pickleball Pop Off." These special touches
added a playful and memorable aspect to the celebration. Set against the vibrant courts of Las Vegas, this event marries
the dynamic energy of the sport with timeless sophistication. The wedding attire was stunning! It blended fun and flirty
elements with elegance, while the hair and makeup complemented the theme, striking a perfect balance between court
readiness and wedding finesse.
Bold, colorful floral arrangements highlighted the sport's aesthetics, enhancing the overall setting. The ceremony was
enhanced with an altar with carefully placed flowers and a table set with a customized wedding cake and flutes for
toasting the next chapter. Floral arrangements also decorated the net posts, creating a picturesque backdrop, while the
cake table was elegantly presented with matching floral accents. The bride's bouquet and groom's boutonniere perfectly
complemented the theme with their stunning blooms. The altar showcased a breathtaking floral arch, adding to the
romantic ambiance. To incorporate the pickleball theme once again, the couple included pickleball paddles in the decor,
adding a playful touch. The heart-shaped wedding cake was a delightful highlight, decorated with mini pickleballs,
making it a charming and thematic centerpiece.
Having shared countless romantic and playful moments, this ceremony was certainly one for the books!
Tips for a Successful Pickleball-Inspired Wedding
Planning and Preparation:
1. Choose the Right Venue: Select a location that has pickleball courts. This could be a local park, a country club, or
even a private property with pickleball facilities.
2. Send Out Creative Invitations: Use pickleball-themed invitations to set the tone for your event. Consider incorporating
pickleball imagery or using wording like "Let's Rally in Love".
3. Coordinate with a Planner: If possible, hire an event planner or officiant with experience in themed weddings to help
organize details and ensure everything goes smoothly.
Attire and Accessories:
4. Dress Code: Choose comfortable yet stylish attire suitable for a game of pickleball. Consider personalized jerseys or
custom athletic wear for the bride, groom, and any participants.
5. Footwear: Ensure everyone wears appropriate footwear for playing pickleball. Stylish yet functional athletic shoes are
a must.
6. Themed Accessories: Incorporate pickleball-themed accessories like paddle-shaped boutonnieres, wristbands, or
headbands.
Ceremony and Décor:
7. Pickleball Court Ceremony: Have the ceremony on the pickleball court. Set up an arch or decorative backdrop at the
net, and use the court lines as aisles.
8. Decorations: Use pickleball paddles and balls in your décor. Consider paddle-shaped signage, ball-themed
centerpieces, and colors that match pickleball gear.
9. Themed Vows: Incorporate fun pickleball references into your vows, like "I'll always serve you with love" or "Let's rally
through life together."
Activities and Entertainment:
10. Friendly Matches: Organize a friendly pickleball tournament for your guests. Create brackets and offer small prizes
for the winners.
11. Pickleball Lessons: Hire a coach to give a short lesson to guests who may not know how to play. This can be a fun
icebreaker.
