Anoka County News...

Commissioner Jeff Reinert Named to Anoka County Committees
Commissioner Jeff Reinert was named vice chair of the Parks Committee at the Anoka County Board’s regular meeting February 25.
Reinert was also named to the Airport, Human Services, Property Records and Taxation, Anoka County-Blaine Airport Advisory, Anoka County Extension, Health and Human Services and AMC Policy committees; East Central Regional Juvenile Center Advisory Board; Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority; Anoka County Regional Railroad Authority; Centennial Community Network and Centennial Community Services Consortium. He was also designated as the liaison to the Historical Society and the alternate liaison to the Library Board.
Reinert is a voting delegate for the District 10 Association of Minnesota Counties. He is the lead commissioner on matters relating to aging, maps, and pipeline safety legislation.
Reinert represents District 6 in eastern Anoka County, which includes Centerville, Circle Pines, Columbus, Lexington, Lino Lakes, Linwood Township, and a portion of Blaine.
“My committee assignments will allow me to acquaint myself with a wide variety of government functions in Anoka County and help me build connections with county staff and area partners that will be valuable when it comes to serving our public,” Reinert said. “My past experience as an elected official in Lino Lakes has already proven to be an asset at the county level, and I’m looking forward to establishing more relationships and accomplishing projects that better our county and region.”
