Weekly Update Vol.2020

Eat Local from our Curb-side meals!

The Chain of Lakes Rotary Club and Quad Chamber of Commerce are very pleased to introduce a collaboration effort – that will help ALL local Quad area restaurants and services that serve CURB-SIDE food & drink. We are creating and purchasing 25 lawn signs to distribute to local establishments – and will promote their curbside menus via social media. The signs will start going up the week of April 6.
The Lino Lakes, Circle Pines, Centerville and Lexington community is our business and it’s in all of our best interests to help our businesses survive the COVID-19 era. We want to encourage all of our community families to learn which businesses are serving curbside, what their hours are, and what their curbside menus comprise of. And of course, we want our neighbors to purchase curbside meals!

Member News - April is Volunteer Recognition Month

The Quad Area Chamber is an all Volunteer Chamber!

Thanks to each and everyone one of you who have stepped up to share time, talent, passion for the business community in our area.

I would like to take a moment to highlight Rob Shurtleff from Bob the Website Builder!   Rob has been the member behind the scenes that keeps our website current and adds features etc. as we are able to support them.  He graciously accepts things that I send his way at least weekly.     Email Rob and Thank him for his service to our Chamber!

The Value of Volunteers

The impact of those giving of their time to important causes is immeasurable. Show your appreciation by focusing on imagery that attempts to showcase the magnitude of community service.

  • If we had a penny for every time you helped someone, we'd never need to fundraise again.
  • Volunteers have the most amazing superpower of all. When they touch one person, they touch them all.
  • Some people place value on power and things. Our greatest asset is people like you.
  • To gauge your impact, we'd need to create a new source of measurement.
  • As a plant spreads its seeds across the land, so do you too spread compassion far beyond where you're planted.
  • Like an earthquake, our mission emanates aftershocks thanks to your efforts.
  • In life, there are no sure bets, except that people like you will rise to the occasion and make the world a better place.
  • Without volunteers like you, we'd have a world full of services with no one to provide them.

Welcome Michelle to the Quad Area Chamber Board

Lover of seasons, road trips, and words. Wife, boy mom, rescue dog owner, and blogger. I kind of hate to admit it, but I have over twenty years of experience helping small businesses with their marketing needs. I’ve worked in and owned small businesses, so I get the struggles firsthand. Every person has a story and so does every business. I love learning those stories and sharing them in an authentic way.
