About Us
Hello, I'm Valarie Levine, owner of Sabino Canyon Accounting, LLC. I have my Bachelor of Science business degree in Accountancy, and I've been a successful business accountant for 18 years.
A little about myself :) I've been a green citizen since my early teen years, beginning with a passion for anti-littering. I was born with a strong love and appreciation for our beautiful planet Earth. I became an avid recycler in the early 80's, and I was one of the volunteers at El Con Shopping Center when, at that time, people brought their recycling to us and we separated it all into huge roll-off bins! I became a member of Tucson Green & Beautiful at that time. When I moved up to Flagstaff to attend college in the early 90's, I advocated with the City of Flagstaff to start a recycling program up there, I became one of the key members of the recycling movement throughout the City of Flagstaff. I joined the Committee and not only volunteered but recruited. I absolutely loved it and I continue to get involved in projects in Tucson advocating recycling, anti-littering, water conservation, and green energy.
You might be wondering how I came about naming my business Sabino Canyon Accounting. Growing up in Tucson, I rode my horse and hiked the Canyon before there were trams! Back then, Sabino Canyon and Tucson had a lot more water. Today, I regularly hike the canyon, and I absolutely love and cherish the wonder of the canyon and the Catalinas. Tucson is very blessed to have such beautiful mountains all around :)
